Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. The Public School Teacher occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Typically requires Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. May require specific state-level teaching license. May participate in implementing special programs for students. Additionally, Public School Teacher participates in development and implementation of Individual Education Plans for specific students. Assesses and documents students' progress. Being a Public School Teacher evaluates and monitors student's performance. Develops and implements grade appropriate course work, activities, and assessments to meet the academic needs of children in a K-12 classroom setting. Public School Teacher prepares lesson plans and instructs students in an assigned school.
