Each level was also fit into a theme, making the pack less disjointed and more connected, and levels were retextured with existing skyboxes from the original game or from different worlds featured in the creator's pack. NGUU2055, Twilight, Mike280, Flubby, and Pseudo all have 31 levels each featured in the pack, the maximum amount of levels that could be featured. 2020 also created a stage limit to allow a varied amount of level creators and to prevent a heavy imbalance with a couple of creators dominating the pack. Unlike other major community packs, SMB Level Workshop Community Pack 2020 had a public vote to determine if a level would make it in the pack, the music that would be played in the pack, how hard the level was, and if the level would go in Story Mode or Challenge Mode.
